I do have to say that Dave and I definitely met by fate. My roommate Linda was dating Dave’s roommate Jamie at the time, and they thought it would be fun to set the two of us up. Linda was headed out to a party one night and asked if I wanted to come. She didn’t mention anything about a guy that she was trying to set me up with. The second before we walked out the door she said, “Oh yeah, there is someone I want you to meet tonight.” I thought, “Oh great, she is totally setting me up!”
  When I first saw Dave I was impressed. He was kind of quiet, but very tall, and cute, just the way I like them. Linda had given Dave strict instructions to lie about his age, because I didn’t date younger guys. Well good thing for Dave because we hit it off that night and exchanged numbers. We hung out a few times in groups and then he finally got the courage to ask me out on a real date.
  He took me to this great sushi restaurant called Genki for our first date. Little did he know I am one of the pickiest eaters and I don’t like sushi! We had a wonderful time, great conversation and I knew I wanted to see Dave again. Well, we continued to see a lot of each other and the rest is history. We have been together for 4 years now and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him! Oh yeah, and did I mention that he lied about his age for 3 months!?! Sneaky little devil, but by the time he told me the truth I had already fallen for him and age was just a number.
